Shock potential moves related to 3 Cameroonians in the summer;Choupou,Bahoken & Zambo in potential Barceloma move

Two Cameroon forwards and a midfielder are a subject of transfer talks weeks before the end of the 2018 football season.
Choupou Moting to NewCastle United
Stoke city/Cameroon forward Jean Maxim Eric Choupou Moting, who has endured a difficult first season in the English premier league edging closer to end in a relegation with every passing Match day is linked with a switch to Newcastle United.
The German born Bamileke footballer, had a flying start of the season after leaving Schalke04 for Stoke City but his form has deep netted 5 times and provided 5 assist in 30 premier league games this season.
His best performance this season was recorded against the Magpies Rival(Manchester United) when he scored sensational brace on the 9th of September 2017 to became the first player to score against United in the 2018 season.
The 29 year old joined Stoke city on the 7th of August 2017 on a 3 year deal but with the club potentially facing relegation from the premier league and Newcastle United’s well documented issues in front of goal there have been multiple reports from multiple English News outlets that the Cameroon international forward who has 13 international goals in 45 appearances for Cameroon may switch from the Bet365 stadium for St James’ park.
Daily mail gossiped last week that after a failed attempt to land another Cameroon international and Partizan Belgrade forward in January Mike Ashley and the board have set their sights on Choupou should Stoke city be relegated. Should the deal push through then the former Mainz,Nuremberg,Hamburg and Schalke man will add his name to that of other former Cameroon internationals Geremi Njitap and Sebastian Bassong to have played for the Tyneside club.
Stephane Bahoken to Swansea!
Stephane Bahoken is another Cameroon striker linked with a switch to the Premier league club.
25 year old Bahoken is having a great season with French top flight side Strasbourg where he has scored 6 goals in 22 league one games and is now linked with a move to Welsh side Swansea City.
Stephane Bahoken who won his first international cap for Cameroon on the 25 of March in a friendly against Kuwait is from a football family. His Father, Paul Bahoken, featured for Cameroon in the 1982 world cup in Spain and his family’s football history may facilitate his adaptation to the demands of the premier league.
The former OGC Nice,Grasse and St Mirren forward joined Strasbourg in 2014 and has since then has scored 23 goals in 105 appearances but will be out of contract in the summer thus explaining Swansea’s interest.

Zambo Anguissa to Barcelona!
In what could be the must amazing story related to Cameroon football in the summer,as first hinted by Mundo deportivo weeks ago, there are increasing reports linking 22 years old former Cotonsport and AS Fortuna midfield man currently in the books of Olympique Marseille with a move to Barcelona.
The combative midfielder who joined the French giants in 2015 from Reims has had a great 2018 season at the Velodrome featuring in 33 of Marseille’s 34 league games this season.
Though his creativity is no where that of Andres Iniesta, the imminent departure of Andres Iniesta to China announced this week creates a vacuum which Barcelona is looking forward to fill with Zambo according to the Spanish outlet thus making the story difficult to ignore.
Zambo Anguissa is still looking for his first club goal after 75 appearances but he enjoys a rich return in national colours with 2 goals already to his name since he made his debut on the 24 March 2017 against Tunisia.
Zambo made his debut for Marseille in 17th September 2015 against Dutch side Groningen in the UEFA Europa league and was a part of the Marseille squad of 18 players that took a massive step towards the Lyon final of the UEFA Europa league after beating RB Salzburg 2 nil at home this Thursday.
Andre Franck Zambo Anguissa is on contract with Marseille till June 2021 but it is always a tough ask for a young Cameroonian football to say no to the Catalan giants.
Should these moves happen in the summer,it will massively improve the players stock ahead of the 2019 AFCON in Cameroon.
Cameroon football may be going through challenges on and off the pitch but it is important to remember that Cameroon is the defending champions of Africa in male football, vice continental champions in female football and Under 17 champions in the UNNIFAC tournament. Therefore it’s only normal for Cameroonian footballers to attract interest in every transfer window.
