One Cameroonian amongst 3 nominees for the 2018 Marc Vivian Foe Award

25 year old Cameroonian forward, Karl Took Ekambi has been shortlisted amongst 3 contenders for the 2018 Marc Vivian Foe award.
The annual football award for Africans based in France is dedicated to Cameroonian midfield Maestro, Marc Viviane Foe African footballers based in France has never had Cameroonian winner.
Ekambi’s 17 goals this season for Angers plus 5 assists in 34 of Angers 35 league games is a “major sword” he is expected to work in his favour against Tunisian forward Wahbi Kharzi and Burkinabe Forward Bertrand Traore.

The 27 year old is the dark house in the 3 man competition.
Last year’s winner Jean Michel Seri from the Ivory coast has been left out following OGC Nice’s drop in form this season.
