Desperate substitution for Aigle Royal of Menoua; Simon Dongmo out,Ghislain Nkenlifack in;A New president,Game on

Created in 1938,Aigle Royal of Menoua has remain one of the most loved and followed club in Cameroon for 80 years and counting.
An ideal example of a community bond club, Aigle Royal of Menoua has not known peace since the start of the 2018 football season. With factions being formed in the different divisions of the club, blame punches moving from Coaches to players,Players to coaches and why not administration to coaches but no one daring to say a word against top management.
Truly “all that glitters is not gold”. A distance examination of ” El Pacha” in the build up the 2018 season with the multiple promises left faithful followers licking their lips. Little did they know that the adage “action speak louder than words” will not work with their darling club having Mr Dongmo
Aigle’s failure began way back in December 2017 when in the build up to this season the club failed to lure in great signings and even flushed out one of their best players in Ramses Donfack (current top scorer of Unisport of Bafang with 4 goals, that 50% of the amount of goals the entire Aigle squad has scored this season).
Winning the fraternity tournament in December was also another scene where the fans were flattered to be deceived at the beginning of the season.
The few players the club got have not enjoyed the kind of comfort that guarantee results. With pressure from the fans who almost Lynch Fanya Fanya Fernandez,Open show of lack of unity between top management and unmatched contractual engagements all taking a tool on the club’s performance.
The turning point came in a Saturday night meeting in the Menoua division when Senator Sonkeng Etienne in an extraordinary nightly meeting told Mr Dongmo Simon to resign and allow for the creation of a new administration to carry the club forward.
The most interesting part of the tale is that after the long night drama in the presence of even the divisional officer Mr Dongmo Simon threw in the Towel and made way for his former vice and now President Victor Ghislain Nkenlifack to pilot the affairs of the club with the aim of keeping the club in the top flight Championship.
Nkenlifack has a difficult job to manage 10 points Aigle to achieve at least 27 points more and do what only one of the last 6 clubs in the relegation zone after the first round have done.
Last year Lion Blesse of Fortuni ended the first round with Aigle’s same number of 10 points and got relegated at the end.
Should Nkenlifack (losser to Dongmo in the elections late last year) manage Aigle out of the trouble waters of relegation then it will be the king of come backs greater than that of Colombe last season.
For Aigle Royal of Menoua, now is time to stop the talking and do the doing since actions speak louder than words.
18th and bottom placed Aigle take on Bamboutos FC of Mbouda in a west regional derby on the 13th of may in Limbe before receiving UMS Loum days after in Dschang after which they will collide with Stade Renard, Fovu,Feutcheu FC in their first 9 fixtures.
