Ousmane Christophe calls up 35 Lions under 20 Lions for a training camp

The coach of the under 20 male national selection of Cameroon has thisd afternoon published a list of 35 Lions in that category to camp ahead the Lions first qualifiers game against either South Sudan or Uganda in the second round of the under 20 AFCON qualifiers.
The is made up of home based players and the list surprisingly is without the name 19 year old elite 1 top scorer Christian Emmanuel Nguidjol Bayemi who has 5 goals in 6 Cameroon league appearances.
CHAN 2018 intermediate Lion Herve Steve Bonnie Elame of Dragon of Yaoundé makes the list alongside other elite 1 and amateur players.
Abdel Salam Mefira of AS Fortuna gets the coaches attention after his great start of the season.Mefira has been one of the bright stars for new MTN elite club AS Fortuna.
18 year old Cotonsport of Garoua academy graduate, Moise Sakava has been a dreaded winger since the beginning of this season.He gets an invitation from his former kinterim coach just like team mates Boubakary II Sar,Abba Abraham and Oukine Felix a very bright light in pre season.
Ako Assomo Martin of Eding Sport FC gets a call after his goal and assist over the weekend against Dragon Yaoundé.

Bamboutos FC of Mbouda gets 2 invitations for wonderkids Rene Ndi and Foning Yannick Roche. Same number of invitations go to Best Stars academy of Limbe for Midfield great potential Ngwa Leonard and forward Agbor Clinton Takang.

Since the kick-off of the country’s MTN Elite One football on February 10, passionate football fans are filled with excitement as they welcome the new season. With new players, new kits, new sponsors, new managers and perhaps some new fans, games played from Day 1 to 3 gave us 46 goals and also some surprising results. As is the case in the game of football, history has been made and remade since the beginning of the championship. 22 year old Akoti Rene Mukete has been one of the bright lights of an already bright 2018 MTN elite one season for YOSA of Bamenda. Talk about a player that has been transformed to a match winner for YOSA this season and Akoti’s name immediately comes to mind. The former Best Stars Academy and Dragon Yaoundé forward has been on a steady improvement in form since he moved to Bamenda from Dragon Yaoundé. The little magician has been a regular this season for Doumbe Bosso providing 4 assists (The most for any YOSA player) amongst which include winning a Konyuy Jude converted penalty in Bamenda against Feutcheu FC,a missed penalty in Yaounde against Colombe.
