Chan Update: Zambia eye CHAN

Zambia coach Wedson Nyirenda has set his sight at winning the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) that kicks off in Morocco next week.
Zambia is in Group B alongside Uganda, Namibia and the Ivory Coast.
Nyirenda said in an interview from Lusaka that the Copper Bullets are not going to CHAN for formalities but to compete.
He says his technical bench has managed to assemble a good team that will compete favourably at the tournament.
“…We are going to win the title, we just have to go there and win the cup. What is important is to go into the tournament with a right frame of winning the tournament,” Nyirenda said.
This will be Nyirenda’s biggest challenge since he was appointed head coach of the Chipolopolo in 2016.

Gerard Pique is unsure whether he would have stayed at Barcelona had former manager Pep Guardiola remained at the club beyond 2012 after the now Manchester City boss lost faith in the Spain defender.
