CHAN 2018 Update: Indomitable lions prepare ahead of friendly against Ugandan cranes

The Intermediate Lions of Cameroon are back in Rabat after yesterday’s friendly in Casablanca where they lost to host Morroco by 3-1. Former indomitable lions and now head coach Rigobert Song suffered his first defeat since he took the helm of the intermediate lions of Cameroon on February 17th 2016. A welcoming defeat which will permit him to better appreciate the value of his team subjected to a turnover with 6 new players debuting the encounter against Morocco. In a forth night, the lions drew a 1-1 against Guinea who are equally present at the CHAN.
Today January 7th, boys of Rigobert Song has light training for the starters of yesterday’s game while the others had an intensive session. Temperatures today went down to -7 degree centigrade. And meteorological experts here say it will thus for the next 3 days. And this is mixed with long and heavy rains.
The team play the next game on Tuesday 9th January at 7pm against the Ugandan cranes headed by french born Sebastien Desabre. The Cranes are also training in the same pitch like Cameroon.

Gerard Pique is unsure whether he would have stayed at Barcelona had former manager Pep Guardiola remained at the club beyond 2012 after the now Manchester City boss lost faith in the Spain defender. Union of Douala are closing in on the signing of Cameroonian keeper Lawrence Ngomè from AC Léopards Dolisie in Congo Brazaville. Lawrence Ngomè won three Congo Brazzaville football championships with AC Léopards Dolisie during his spell there.
