Cameroon champions Eding FC sign Lionel Otto Essono to make it 18 new recruit since winning the title

25 year old attacking midfielder LIONEL OTTO ESSONO has return to Cameroon from Spain to join league one champions Eding FC of Lekie on a 2 year deal.
Lionel a former player of Canon Yaounde is no stranger to the Cameroon Elite football league began 2017 season with Canon Yaounde. He brings a bag of experience to Eding after his experiences in Greece where he featured for clubs like Fokikos between 2012-2013,P GS Kissamikos between 2013-2014, Atromitos between 2014-2015.
He has also served San Roque and Chania on loan.
President Saint Farbian Mvogo has been very active in the market to make sure Eding is good enough to challenge in the CAF champions league and restore Cameroon’s 4 places in CAF competitions.

Eding this days brings back the good old picture of a great Olympique de Mvolye side that once served as home of Cameroon internationals’.
Eding begin their title defence on the weekend of 20th ,21st January 2018 and two weeks later travel to Jos Nigeria to take on Plateau United in the first leg of the champions league preliminary rounds.

While Fabrice Raymond Fotso left for Universidad in Peru(Raymond Fotso is now linked with a move to Bamboutous),and Midfielder Cedric Zemba has gone up North to play for cotonsport of Garoua next season,Alfred Meyong left the club on mutual agreement and back up goalkeeper Zoa Boniface has joined Bamboutous FC of Mbouda as first choice keeper.

Gerard Pique is unsure whether he would have stayed at Barcelona had former manager Pep Guardiola remained at the club beyond 2012 after the now Manchester City boss lost faith in the Spain defender. Union of Douala are closing in on the signing of Cameroonian keeper Lawrence Ngomè from AC Léopards Dolisie in Congo Brazaville. Lawrence Ngomè won three Congo Brazzaville football championships with AC Léopards Dolisie during his spell there. It is only a matter of time for the executive of the Nassaras Gamakai to make the signing of the goalkeeper official.
